Why Experience Matters Here
The mistake we see most is clearing the tops and leaving the roots. Two years later the ground settles, the driveway dips, and the slab cracks. Pulling roots costs a little more up front and saves a lot later.

Yes, and that is usually what people want. We flag the clearing limits with you before we start so the shade trees and the buffer along the road stay where they are.
What happens to the trees and brush?
Depends on the site and the county burn rules. We can haul it off, pile it for you, or burn it on site if a permit is available. Merchantable timber can sometimes go to a mill and offset the cost.
Do you grind stumps or pull them?
For a building site we pull them, because grinding leaves the root system in the ground. For a finished yard where nothing is going to be built, grinding is cheaper and less disruptive.
How much does it cost to clear an acre?
It swings a lot based on tree size, density, and how far the debris has to travel. Light brush is a fraction of what heavy pine costs. We walk it and give you a real number instead of a per acre guess.
