Pool excavation is precision digging. The hole has to match the plan, the bottom has to be right, and the surrounding yard has to survive the process.

How We Handle the Job

Plan the access
Getting a machine into a fenced back yard is half the job. We check gates, corners, and overhead lines first.

Lay out the shell
Dig limits get staked off the pool plan before the bucket touches dirt.

Dig to shape
We cut the shallow end, deep end, and the transition to the shape on the plan.

Haul the spoil
Pool spoil is a lot of dirt. It goes on our trucks unless you want it kept on site.

Hand off clean
Bottom cleaned up, over dig checked, and access left open for the steel and gunite crews.

Why Experience Matters Here
High water table is the thing that catches people out around here. In parts of Chatham and Liberty County you hit water before you hit the deep end. We plan for pumping instead of finding out that morning.
Sandy soil sloughs. We cut the walls at the right angle and time the dig close to the steel crew so the hole is not standing open through a week of rain.

How long does it take to dig a pool?
Most residential pools dig in one to two days once we have access. Rock, water, or a tight back yard can push that out.
Can you get equipment into a fenced back yard?
Usually. Our compact machine fits through most standard gates. If it does not, we can pull a fence section and set it back when we finish.
Where does all the dirt go?
A pool dig produces more spoil than people expect. We haul it off on our trucks, or spread it on site if you have somewhere that needs fill.
Do you work directly with pool builders?
Yes, we dig for local pool companies regularly and work off their plan and their schedule. We also work directly with homeowners running their own build.
